Owned and managed by Monaghan business woman Phyllis Moffett, the Fitness Habit is a 1000 sq metre, state of the art gym facility. The 800 sq metre gym area is fitted with top of the range equipment from Cybex - America's leading fitness brand. There are two spacious studios for group classes; a coffee and smoothie dock; and high specification changing facilities for members fitted with secure lockers. The Fitness Habit is also the first gym in Ireland with a pink treadmill to support Breast Cancer Awareness through promotional "money for miles" initiatives throughout the year. They also provide a unique 'Night Rider' spinning class in a purpose built black out room fitted with LED lights and an image projector.
The ethos of the Fitness Habit is personal attention and all the Personal Trainers are trained to deliver a high level of customer service coupled with expert knowledge. The Fitness Habit team will give each member a professional and inspiring experience. With classes for all ages from teens to over 60's as well as a range of member options including annual and three month deals - with no joining fees - there is something to suit everyone.

The centre offers a variety of training options to a members and pay as you go clients, including cardiovascular and resistance equipment and a range of group classes including spinning, cardio pump, suspension training, cardio boxercise, circuit training, core and flexibility, Pilates among many others. For those members requiring one-to-one training, the fitness habit also offers personal training and nutritional advice by qualified, and certified personal trainers.
